The youngsters (aged between 15-17) had experienced a trip of a lifetime when they took on various top Italian youth sides during the tour of Italy.
The team took part in five matches which included matches against FC Inter, Atalanta BC and a Swiss representative.
Australian Football Mundial technical director Vince Colagirui, who is also a teacher at Christian Brothers High School, was overwhelmed with the success the tour brought to the youngsters as well as the thrill of meeting a number of high profile football stars and coaches, most notably Mourinho.
?The beauty of this tour was that it gave all players the opportunity to be seen by professional clubs and agents in Italy and Switzerland while they learned from top Italian coaches.
?They also could compare themselves with players their age at clubs like FC Inter and Atalanta BC, which are probably the two best youth development clubs in Italy,? he told the St George and Sutherland Shire Leader.
The boys that had the pleasure of meeting Mourinho consisted of 2 squads on a parallel tour:
*A squad representing Christian Brothers High School (CBHS) Lewisham & the Australian Football Mundial (AFM) academy squad.
The CBHS pooled in some impressive results during their tour of Italy and turned some heads with their top notch performances.
