Sydney Olympic flying to Brisbane for Olympic FC tournament

Sydney Olympic will take on hosts Olympic FC as well as Northcote City and Heidelberg United, both from Melbourne. 
The tournament begins on Friday 23^rd January and finishes on Monday 26^th January 2009. Each team will play each other once and each team will play one game per day, with the final played on the afternoon of Monday 26th January.
Sponsors for the tournament is ?The Coffee Club? and the company has given a total prize pool of $5000.  The winner of the tournament will receive $3000, the runner up will get $1000, 3rd place receives $600 and 4th gets $400.

8.30pm Olympic FC vs Sydney Olympic  
Saturday 24^th January 2009        
5.00pm Northcote City vs Sydney Olympic
7.00pm Olympic FC vs Heidelberg Utd

5.00pm Sydney Olympic vs Heidelberg Utd
7.00pm Olympic FC vs Northcote City
Monday 26^th January 2009         
2.00pm 3rd and 4^th Playoff
4.00pm Grand Final Playoff
The tournament is viewed as a great pre-season hit out for Sydney Olympic as the club prepares for the 2009 Premier League Season.
Meanwhile, Sydney Olympic also snapped up midfielder Peter McPherson return to the club for the 2009 TeleChoice Premier League Season.
McPherson was a strong blip on coach Aytek Genc’s radar upon the former player’s return to Australia after pursuing his physical education teaching career overseas.
Sydney Olympic fans saw McPherson in action for the club in the 2004/2005 and 2006 TeleChoice Premier League seasons.
