The Lightning senior men?s team has its first trial match on January 31 against Edgeworth Eagles at Pluim Park, with others to follow in the lead-up to the season proper on March 14.
The Lightning?s first competition match is against Macarthur Rams at home.
Central Coast Lightning Football Club will have 22 representative teams in action this season and more than 330 players competing in NSW and Northern NSW Football competition.
But the club needs sponsors to support its campaign, with its first grade men?s and women?s teams a priority.
?As the club grows we are continually striving to raise our standards across all areas,? Lightning president Dennis Silvers said. ?To do this we need sponsors? funds to improve and develop our grounds, facilities and playing equipment.?
