PCYC Lady Hawks Admitted to Arrive alive Women?s Super League

PCYC will collaborate with Granville and Bankstown Football Association to promote women?s football across the regions and to establish development programs for aspiring female elite players.
The PCYC Lady Hawks will play all home games at Melita Stadium, alongside the PCYC Parramatta Eagles.
Football NSW has received the cooperation of the St. George women?s teams which were scheduled to play against Bankstown Wildcats in Round One of the Arrive alive Women?s Super League.
The St. George teams have graciously agreed to defer their scheduled fixtures to permit PCYC Lady Hawks to complete player selections.  
Jeanette Jones, Chair of the Women?s Standing Committee has supported efforts to avoid having a BYE.
?I strongly believe swift action was necessary to ensure the maximum number of clubs participated in the league so as not to diminish opportunities for female players at an elite level.
?With PCYC Lady Hawk?s now competing in the Arrive alive Women?s Super League, it now provides direct pathways for aspiring female players in the Bankstown and Granville Associations.
?It is pleasing to have a community group such as PCYC utilising its? resources and infrastructure to provide opportunities for girls and young women involved in football.?
