Bathurst Coach Mark Rooke is confident his young squad can maintain a competitive attitude throughout the season. However, Hakoah, a club which should be considered one of the favourites for 2009, will bring experience through the likes of former National Soccer League player John Pillemer and Gareth Martin in the squad. Coach Andrew Prentice, a former NSL Goalkeeper, said the side is looking to better their second place finish in 2008.
Prospect United Coach Brian Vella stated that his team are capable of making an impact in 2009 with Super League recruits from Hills United and Mt Druitt joining the youthful squad. Prospect will have their chance to showcase their young side when they face Penang FC on Saturday at 5.00pm at William Lawson Reserve. Penang FC Head Coach Tony Gallagher, along with the appointment of Reserve grade Under 20s coach Brad Finch, is sure to help with the coaching staff department. ?We have set our goals for season 2009 and hope that this will be a fruitful one. The club found the going tough last season but when you think we established this club some six weeks before the season commencing then we can only get better and better.?
Roosters newly appointed coach Husli Orhan former player in (2006-08) is confident that his side can repeat the success which saw them finish second in 2008. However Springwood will have the home advantage at Summerhayes Park on Saturday at 7.30pm in what should be a thrilling contest.
Hurstville City Minotaurs representative James Jordan is pleased with his team for 2009 saying that they will be competitive; the side is confident ahead of their home game against Gladesville Ryde Magic at Belmore Sports Ground 3.00pm Sunday.
Camden Tigers President Tony Holmes is confident that his side is capable of making the play-offs. The squad holds an age group of 18 to 20 year olds, a young team in which Tony Holmes believes provides enough depth to perform well this season. FC Gazy Lansvale will present an interesting contest at Ron Dine Reserve 3.00pm Sunday with a young squad eager on making a final appearance in 2009. Club President Amir Cicak believes that coach Spage Nagdouske has prepared the team well for a long and competitive season.
Colo Colo President Luis Daza is pleased with his squad and is aiming for a top two finish; such are the high demands at the club, however Sydney Cedars will have the home advantage at Punchbowl Oval on Sunday 3.00pm and will be eager on trying to salvage maximum points.

Luddenham United appointed coach Andrew Montgomery was optimistic about the year ahead. ?We are confident of having a good year and want to forget last year?s problems and difficulties.? The game will provide much entertainment when both sides compete at Luddenham Oval on Sunday 3.00pm a contest in which both sides will aim for three points.
White City Club Secretary George Vasic said that after finishing third in last year?s Southern Region competition the team with coach Dane Blanusa is eager in trying to take his side into a Top-Five spot. However Fairfield Bulls along side appointed experienced coach Michael Mamo could cause a bother when the two Clubs meet at Bonnyrigg Sports club 3.00 pm Sunday.  Fairfield Bulls CLUB President Sargon Makko hopes to salvage a top four spot. ?After a shaky last place last year we are quietly confident that this year will bring a new look outfit with experience, the team is showing a lot of respect and the club is on the rise.?
