State, Robertson & Bill Cullinan Cups Round 2
The 2nd round of this competition is always a bumper round, but with so many entries this year we will have 142 matches set down for determination.
This round sees the Men?s 21?s and Over 35?s, together with all grades of the womens competitions, Under 12-14-16-18 and All Age join in after receiving byes in the first round..
Once again matches will be played across the breadth of the greater Sydney metropolitan area, as well as Dubbo, Illawarra and Goulburn.
There will no doubt be some very exciting matches but none more tantalizing than the Bill Cullinan fixtures involving STFA Goulburn Strikers and Gymea who are both still alive in Round 3 of the Tiger Turf Cup after accounting for Super League Club Macarthur Rams (Strikers) and First Division Mounties FC (Gymea)
Gymea will travel to meet West Ryde Rovers, while STFA Goulburn Strikers will travel to Sutherland to take on the highly fancied Cronulla Seagulls. It will also be interesting to see how the Griffith based Yoogali match up against Ryde Saints United after a great first up win on home soil in Round 1.
