“Football4all” A Tremendous Success!

St_Ives

Football4all gave children and young people with a disability or special need the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful day of football with family and friends at no expense.
It was a carnival like atmosphere as competitions from various age groups, as well as skills, drills and other fun activities took place at Football NSW?s Headquarters.
Special guests from Sydney FC; Ivan Necevski and Terry McFlynn, the Australian deaf football team and recently crowned National Champions the NSW cerebral palsy football team were on hand during the event, assisting with the overall promotion of such a innovative initiative.
Camera crews from Football Stars of Tomorrow and SBS, as well as various print journalists also attended the marquee event.
Football NSW Risk Manager and State MPO Michelle Hanley was delighted with the day?s proceedings.
?It brought a smile to my face to have seen so many happy participants take part in the inaugural Football4all Gala Day.
?Football4all brought together a congregation of aspiring individuals which too share the passion for football as much as we do.?
Football NSW CEO Michael Quarmby was equally as impressed and compelled by the event.
?I want to commend all the organisations, associations and teams involved in today?s wonderful occasion.
?Football NSW is proud to have instigated such a ground-breaking event and hopes various State and National sporting bodies follow in the footsteps of our organisation.
Football NSW wishes to thank all the clubs, associations and staff who were involved in making the day such a success and would like to especially congratulate all the participants, coaches and carers for their inspirational support for Footbal4all Gala Day.
