State League Two Round 12 Preview

The home side are coming off an away win against Springwood last Saturday night and will be hoping they can use their current form in a bid to take maximum points come Saturday. Hurstville defeated Hakoah at home last week 2-0 and their form has been consistent this year, it will be an exciting clash as both sides are capable of anything in 2009.
Penang FC will host a tough opposition in Gladesville Ryde Magic on Saturday afternoon at Mount Penang Sports Complex. The home side will need to recuperate after a 13-2 drumming at the hands of Roosters FC last week. The away side is in touch of claiming first position and come Saturday they will be gunning for the all important three points. Penang FC will need to regroup for this clash and would be a great boost for the home fans if there club could pick up their first win against top opposition.
Prospect united will host Springwood FC on Saturday afternoon at William Lawson Reserve at 5.00pm. The home side will go in as favourites in this clash and will be gunning for the win as it would claim top spot. Springwood FC who is also without a win for the 2009 season will be hoping for a good performance in a bid to gain some confidence within the club and enable the side to pick up valuable points.
Hakoah will entertain Roosters FC at E.S Marks Field at 3.00pm on Sunday; both sides are capable of doing well however Roosters after scoring 13 goals in their last match will be confident come Sunday. Hakoah are coming off a loss to Hurstville and will need to be aware of there opposition as Roosters have made a firm statement that they will be a competitive side in 2009.
Hawkesbury City faces Lansvale on Saturday at Benson Lane Field 5.00pm, Lansvale picked up a win against Wanderers last Sunday. Hawkesbury lost to White City 3-2 last Sunday however did show signs of quality football in the second half after being down 3-1 at the half. This will be an interesting clash and with Hawkesbury at home it will prove a tough test of character for the Lansvale side that are looking to regain some good form.
Colo Colo faces Fairfield Bulls on Sunday 3.00pm at Knight Park with both sides eager to collect maximum points. The home side suffered an away loss to Gazy Lansvale last Sunday and will be hoping they can bring back the form that saw them take consecutive wins. Both sides have good sides and with the Bulls always a challenge it will make this clash a more exciting one come Sunday afternoon.
Luddenham United will host White City at Luddenham Oval on Sunday 3.00pm, the away side picked up a good win against Hawkesbury last Sunday. Luddenham are known for their quality football when playing at home and White City will have to be alert come Sunday if they want to make it two consecutive wins in the league. This will be a test for the home side a team in need of some better form in front of goal gain the all important points.
Sydney cedars will clash with Camden Tigers on Sunday 3.00pm at Punchbowl Oval; this will be an entertaining clash with both sides fighting for that all important top spot. Camden are a dangerous side away from home and Sydney will have to be weary come Sunday. Cedars are in sensational form and will hope to continue that when they are put to the test on Sunday.
