Central Coast Mariners W-League stars represent both Matildas and Young Matildas squads

Midfielder Renee Rollason was amongst the 26-player squad as selected by Westfield Matildas Head Coach Tom Sermanni in taking part in a training camp on the Gold Coast from 9 to 12 July, 2009.
The camp will form part of the ongoing squad selection process for the Westfield Matildas.
The AFC Women?s Asian Cup 2010 also serves as a qualifying competition for the 2011 FIFA Women?s World Cup which will be held in Germany. Australia is currently ranked 14 in the FIFA Women?s World Rankings and fourth within the AFC.
Meanwhile Westfield Young Matildas coach Alen Stajcic selected three Central Coast Mariners W-League rising stars in his 24-player squad for a training camp on the Gold Coast from 8 to 11 July 2009.
Teresa Polias, Karina Roweth and Kyah Simon were amongst the lucky girls chosen in Stajcic?s squad.
Westfield Young Matildas qualified for the AFC U-19 Women’s Championships late last year in Kuala Lumpur by finishing second in their qualification group. The AFC U-19 Women’s Championships will see Australia match up against Japan, China and Chinese Taipei in Group B.
