The action came thick and fast this week, as you would expect in the race for places in the eagerly anticipated finals series.
Next week?s break in the competition proper will allow us the opportunity to look at all the competition tables and to assess the prospects for each of the teams.
Club Championship
Fraser Park not only extended their lead at the top of this table but they have probably knocked third placed Camden Tigers out of contention to win the Club Championship when they took all fifteen points from them this weekend. Fraser Park had earned nine points from the first round clash.
Sydney University remained in second spot when they bagged nine points from their matches against Springwood who used their six points share to climb one place to tenth. Uni had taken all the first round points.
Fourth placed Mt Druitt Town Rangers had pocketed nine points from their last encounter with Hakoah and when they took ten points this time around Hakoah slipped back one place to eleventh.
Rockdale City Suns stayed at fifth when they grabbed nine points from seventh placed St George from whom they had taken ten of the first round points.
Hurstville City Minotaurs are still sixth after they split the points at seven apiece with eighth placed Stanmore Hawks. Hurstville had taken eight points last time they faced the Hawks.
Ninth placed Gladesville Ryde Magic showed a dividend of nine points when they met twelfth placed Hills Brumbies from whom they had taken ten of the first round points.
Grade 13
Competition leaders Fraser Park had beaten sixth placed Camden Tigers 4-1 in the first round and they completed the double with a 5-2 success this time around.
Sydney University are in second spot and they extended their unbeaten run to nine games with a 4-0 victory over Springwood who have slipped back one place to eighth. Uni were 5-0 winners in the first round.
Third placed Rockdale City Suns have now gone five matches without loss following their 3-1 win over ninth placed St George who they had beaten 3-0 in the first round.
Hills Brumbies stayed at fourth when they won their third successive match with a 1-0 result over tenth placed Gladesville Ryde Magic whose unbeaten run of four matches came to an end. That completed the double for the Brumbies who were 2-0 winners in the first round.
Mt Druitt Town Rangers are still fifth following their 4-0 victory over eleventh placed Hakoah who they had beaten 1-0 in the first round encounter.
Hurstville City Minotaurs moved up one place to seventh thanks to their 1-1 draw with twelfth placed Stanmore Hawks who they had defeated 3-0 last time they faced them.
Grade 14
Fraser Park climbed one place to take the competition lead when they posted a 2-1 win over Camden Tigers who have slipped back one place to fourth. The Tigers had won the first round clash 1-0.
Sydney University dropped from first to third after their six match unbeaten run came to a screaming halt when they went down 2-0 to eleventh placed Springwood who Uni had beaten 2-1 the first time around.
Stanmore Hawks extended their unbeaten run to six games and they jumped from fifth to second with a 2-0 victory over Hurstville City Minotaurs who slipped back one place to sixth The first round match was a scoreless draw.
St George climbed one place to fifth when they were 4-1 winners over seventh placed Rockdale City Suns who had won the first round clash with a 1-0 scoreline.
Eighth placed Mt Druitt Town Rangers had lost 2-0 when they faced ninth placed Hakoah in the first round but the teams shared the spoils this time when the match ended at 2-2.
Gladesville Ryde Magic are tenth and Hills Brumbies are twelfth after the Brumbies produced 2-0 win this week, reversing the first round outcome when Magic won 1-0.
Grade 15
Competition leaders Fraser Park continued their unbeaten season with a 3-1 win over Camden Tigers who have dropped back one place to third. Fraser Park have completed the double after winning the first round clash 5-1.
Hurstville City Minotaurs rose one place to second when they recorded a 3-0 win over eighth placed Stanmore Hawks who they had beaten 2-0 last time around.
Fourth placed Rockdale City Suns were 2-1 winners last time they saw twelfth placed St George and they went on to complete the double with a 6-0 result this week.
In a match played a couple of weeks ago fifth placed Mt Druitt Town Rangers defeated tenth placed Hakoah 3-1 and that completed the double for the Rangers after they had won the first round match 2-1.
Sixth placed Sydney University?s eight match unbeaten run came to an end when they suffered a 3-1 loss to ninth placed Springwood. The first round points had gone to Uni when they won 6-3.
Gladesville Ryde Magic took their unbeaten run to five games when they registered a 3-1 win over eleventh placed Hills Brumbies. That has left Magic at seventh and the Brumbies at eleventh. The first round match was a scoreless draw.
Grade 16
St George are still the competition frontrunners even though their four game unbeaten run was ended with a 2-0 loss to ninth placed Rockdale City Suns who the Saints had beaten 1-0 in the first round.
Second placed Sydney University made it eight games without loss when they recorded a 2-0 success over eleventh placed Springwood who had lost 6-2 to Uni when they met last time.
Fraser Park remained at third after they extended their success to nine games without a loss with a 2-0 result over sixth placed Camden Tigers. That completes the double for Fraser Park as they had won the first round match 3-1.
Hurstville City Minotaurs have now gone six games without loss and stayed at fourth following their 1-0 win over fifth placed Stanmore Hawks. The first round match was a 1-1 draw.
When seventh placed Hakoah met eighth placed Mt Druitt Town Rangers in a match played a couple of weeks ago the Rangers were 2-1 winners, reversing the first round result when Hakoah had won by the odd goal in five.

Second placed Camden Tigers saw their six match winning streak come to an end when they lost 3-2 to third placed Fraser Park, reversing the first round outcome when the Tigers had won 6-4.
Mt Druitt Town Rangers remained at fourth despite suffering a 3-1 loss to Hakoah who ended a six game losing streak and rose one place to tenth. The Rangers had won the first round match 1-0.
Fifth placed Gladesville Ryde Magic posted a 4-0 victory over Hills Brumbies who have dropped two places to eighth. Magic were 2-0 winners when the teams met last time.
