White City are sitting in the bottom three and will be hoping for an improved performance when they tackle an inform Bathurst side. The home side will have the advantage as their home ground has seen them produce good results throughout the year. The competition is reaching towards the finale and Bathurst will want maximum points in a bid to play finals football in 2009.
Prospect United and Luddenham united face off at William Lawson Reserve on Saturday afternoon 3.00pm. The home side will be favourites come Saturday and with the top three sides so close together on points Prospect will be gunning for all three. Luddenham will have a game on their hands as there form hasn?t sparked enough bite this year to make finals in 2009. However despite Luddenham not being consistent this year they are still are side capable of unleashing some surprising results.
Hurstville City and Camden Tigers will clash at Belmore Sports Ground on Saturday at 5.00pm; Hurstville in good position sitting comfortably in the top five will want to keep up their good form. Camden has played outstanding football in 2009 and will prove a challenge as they look to creep back into the top five. Both sides have grown in confidence this year and come Saturday both will be gunning for that all important win.
Springwood has been in outstanding form in the past three weeks, but come Saturday night they will clash with Sydney Cedars at Summerhayes Park. Cedars have many games in hand and will be gunning for that win come Saturday night so they can push for a good finals spot. Springwood will face the ultimate test and will hope that all this recent form will encourage them to put on a great courageous display of football come Saturday night.
Gladesville and Fairfield Bulls meet at Magdala Park on Sunday afternoon 3.00pm, the home side will hope to secure first place come end of season so Bulls will need to be aware of the capabilities the home side possesses. Bulls have shown great form in recent times and after their sensational performance against Prospect a few weeks they go into this clash with a possible chance of an upset on the cards come Sunday. However Gladesville are in good form and will want to keep this streak on the right track as we head closer to the finals.
Roosters Fc who are sitting in second a point behind Gladesville will want to surge closer to the top when they meet Hawkesbury City at Mona Park. Gary Lewis knows that this will be a tough game but his side has picked up good form and will be a dangerous opponent for the informed Roosters. Both sides have the quality football in 2009 and this clash will provide an intense and physical clash come Sunday afternoon.
Penang Fc faces Gazy Lansvale on Sunday at Mount Penang Sports Complex 3.00pm, with Gazy falling out of form and Penang in bottom place this game will be for pride. The home side are going through a re-building stage with many youngsters in the side and will want to pick up their first win come Sunday. Gazy will want to finish the season on a high note despite their finals chances already vanishing.
Hakoah and Colo Colo will be postponed till the 12th August.
