Tough start for Marconi?s young guns at Manchester United Premier Cup
Pat Faga?s side took on Thai outfit AC Thonburi in its first clash in the morning session and went down 1-0 while in the afternoon match, the Stallions courageously went down 3-2 to Chilean giants Colo Colo.
Day 2 (Thursday August 5) of the prestigious tournament will see the Stallions challenge Italian giants AS Roma at 7.30pm (AEST) before finishing up with their final match against Spanish side Atletico Madrid at 2.30am with Marconi needing to collect six points in order of advancing into the later stages of the Cup.
Football NSW will monitor the next two matches set for kick-off later this evening.
