Foord, who recently signed with W-League outfit the Central Coast Mariners for the 2009/2010 season, is eagerly anticipating this camp and was delighted after receiving the call-up.
?I am very happy to be part of this training camp.
?I really enjoy playing at this level, it?s great fun and I will try really hard in getting towards that final selection of players going to Myanmar next month.
?Representing your country means so much to me and I want to do my best in getting as far up as a professional footballer as possible.?
The pint sized striker has come through leaps and bounds since starting up her career in football where she has played for the likes of the Illawarra Stingrays and the Sutherland Sharks before spending some quality time at the NSW Institute of Sport.
The Mount Warrigal resident and Illawarra Sports High student also had a successful year in silverware and was crowned ?Junior Sports Star of the Year? at the Shellharbour Sports Awards.
Apart from football, Foord has also excelled in Futsal as she was selected in the NSW Under 13?s squad who competed in the Australian Championships in Canberra.
This call-up was not Foord?s first as last year she took part in four matches with the Australian U17s squad in Canberra.
