Bankstown City FC secure major sponsor for 2010

The agreement will see Primo Smallgoods sponsoring Bankstown City FC initially for one season with the option of continuance for 2011.
The objective of the sponsorship is to promote the sport within the local community and provide financial support for clubs such as Bankstown City FC.
Primo is the market leader and largest producer of ham, bacon and smallgoods in Australia, catering for local and the export markets. Primo is well placed within the local community with its processing plant firmly located within the Bankstown district.
Primos’ processing plant is located in Chullora and already supports the community in providing employment for locals. Nationally Primo employs over 4500 people.
In a statement by Bankstown City FC Club Secretary Mendo Petkovski stated to Football NSW his delight in capturing the major sponsor for 2010.
?It is heartwarming to see organisations such as Primo supporting the greatest sport on the planet within the local community, we hope to continue our relationship with Primo in the future and we hope that Primo will enjoy the relationship with the club.
?Clubs such as ours survive due to the generosity of sponsors such as Primo, parents, volunteers and small business.
?We sincerely hope that other organisations will do their bit and support the sport and the club.?
