Blacktown City FC approach new era

Apart from its coaching and player roster changes the club has officially changed its name to ?Blacktown City FC? as well as having a modernised logo approved at a recent Annual General Meeting held at the club.
With Aytek Genc returning to his old stomping ground as coach alongside several former Demons stars, the club will play its home matches at Lily Homes Stadium (previously known as Gabbie Stadium) for 2010 and beyond.
The club famous for its development of young promising footballers will continue to focus in this area especially and will look towards bringing back the glory days at the club.
Blacktown City FC?s Director of Football Ken Schembri is adamant that there are a number of positive initiatives coming through the club?s end.
?The Club has worked very hard in recent times to try and re-establish itself as the Premier Club of NSW.
?I believe with these changes a number of positive initiatives are being shown by the club in taking it forward.
?With a new coach, returning players, new name, new logo and a new name for our spiritual ground at Seven Hills, we?re hoping for success after two years of rebuilding.?
