Vale – Andrew Robertson
Born in 1927, Andrew Robertson and his wife Joan have long been an integral part of Football NSW at a community level. Joan Robertson is the current Secretary of Southern Branch. A position Joan has held for a considerable period of time. Prior to moving to Southern NSW, Andrew and Joan were involved in the Granville Association.
The Robertson name is synonymous with football. The Robertson Cup, being the Under 21 state-wide competition proudly bears the family name. The Robertson family has sponsored this competition since its inaugural year in 1956.
Andrew and Joan Robertson and their family have annually made the trip to Valentine Sports Park to present the Robertson Cup which was one of Andrew?s major passions in life.
The funeral will be 11:00am on Tuesday the 19th January at the Church of Christ Manse, 56 Wingecarribee St, Bowral.Andrew?s passing will be mourned by the Football NSW family.
