MBF Sydney FC School Holiday Clinics commence today


Open to children aged between 6 and 12 years, each participant in the three-day clinic receive an exclusive opportunity to meet the Sydney FC players and learn skills from some of Sydney?s best coaches whilst having fun in a professional environment.
They will also receive an official Sydney FC holiday clinic jersey, shorts, socks, along with a boot bag and certificate of participation.
Children from right across Sydney, including Castle Hill, Burwood, Gladesville, Penshurst, Hornsby, Manly, Ryde, Fairfield, Bankstown and Leumeah will take to the pitch between 9am and 12noon from Tuesday 19 January to Thursday 21 January 2010.
?The MBF Sydney FC School Holiday Clinics are an excellent way for budding young players to learn more about the game in a fun, friendly environment,? Sydney FC Community Football Officer Ryan Walsh said.
?As well as receiving coaching tips from leading coaches, the kids will get to mingle with the A-League players and have their Sydney FC gear signed.
?It is a great experience for them. They hone their football skills, get decked out in the full Sydney FC kit and get the chance to ask the professional players a thing or two about the game.?

The MBF Sydney FC School Holiday Clinics are located in the Macquarie University Sports Fields, corner of Talavera and Culloden Roads, Macquarie Park.
The clinics are open to media on all three days.
