Super League Round 4 Preview

Both sides have been impressive to date, the Eagles perhaps more so with an unblemished record in their three games so far. They look to be making every post a winner, clearly not envisaging missing out on the title on goal difference this year.
There was somewhat of an exodus from Melita Stadium at the end of last year but new coach Brian Dean has seemingly put a squad together who don?t intend to slip up this season. With Parramatta led as always by Ben Delicata, FC Bossy will do well to ensure that he doesn?t exert too much influence this weekend, not an easy task.
The team from Liverpool were not at their best last Sunday but still managed to take all three points though they will no doubt rise to the occasion for this game. Coach Zlatko Nastevski has only been easing striker Alex Asanovic into matches as he recovers from a hamstring injury but this may just be the time for Asanovic to be given greater game time. We will wait and see on that one.
This game looks to be a cracker?an early season summit clash indeed.
But while many eyes will be on Melita Stadium, with many clubs hoping for a draw no doubt, there are four other fixtures taking place on Saturday including third placed Granville Rage entertaining Mount Druitt.
The Rage have done exceptionally well so far this season,  two wins and a draw from their three games, and may fancy their chances against a Mount Druitt side who have struggled thus far. But the Rangers will be quietly confident after having staged a fine comeback against Sydney Uni last Sunday and they may well believe that they have turned the corner.
University meet St George at St George Stadium despite this being their home fixture. With Hensley Field still unavailable, Uni have had to give up home advantage for this one but matches against the Saints have always been close affairs and there is nothing to suggest that this wont be any different. There is rarely more than one goal in it when these teams meet and it was Uni who eliminated St George from the finals last season. A chance for St George to turn the tables, perhaps?
Also on Saturday, Spirit FC travel to Fraser Park. Fraser are having a frustrating season, fighting hard but losing all the same, if narrowly. They could have gained something last weekend had their shooting been a bit sharper and they will need to take those opportunities, should they arise this time around. But Spirit are renowned for having a miserly defence and won?t be too generous.
Two teams towards the tail end of the table, Dulwich Hill and Central Coast meet at Arlington Oval. The Coast took the lead last weekend against Spirit but couldn?t hold onto the advantage. Likewise, Dulwich Hill took the lead against Granville and also succumbed. Both sides needs points, preferably all three, if they wish to move away from the cellar.
There is only one game on Sunday with Northern Tigers meeting the visiting Macarthur Rams at Mills Park. Both teams have four points in a packed mid table and require a win to ensure the leaders don?t gain too much of an advantage so early in the season.
The Rams will do well to keep an eye on Michael Simmonds, who is in fine goal scoring form at the moment, with three goals in the last two games.
Round Four looks intriguing with much to look forward to this weekend.
