1) Your name and occupation?
My name Bianca Howarth and I am a PE teacher
2) Your favoured playing position?
Centre midfeild
3) What was your first junior club?
Beacon Hill
4) What made you take up football?
I was told I was too short for netball at 12, so my teacher kindly suggested joining the football team.
5) Who has been your most positive influence on your football career?
Brett Wallin for always taking the time to give me advice and coaching on my football and loaning me his speed ladder! Brendan Dalton for getting me playing for the tigers and being an amazing coach with a contagious passion for the game! All the girls I have played with the last couple of years. Oh and the physios!
6) Which footballer do you admire most?
I would have to say Michelle Carney? I have watched her play since I was young and she still is an amazing footballer and she cuts a ball better than anyone else I have seen. Also anyone with plenty of heart and doesn?t give up.
7) Do you have any match day superstitions (lucky socks, left shoe before right, etc)?
I am honestly lucky to have two matching boots at the moment!
8) If you could have a dinner party with any three famous people who would they be? Why?
Allan Shearer – He was my idol as a kid and I could use some pointers on finishing.
Will Ferrell – The evenings entertainment.
Lance Armstrong – He is full of inspiration!
9) What song best describes your approach to football?
I like to listen to ?harder faster stronger? by Daft Punk or anything by Miley Cyrus I can sing too to get me pumped up, or any song with a drum solo that I can air drum to in the car on the way.
10) Is there a particular pre game meal you like to eat?
Italian eggs on Dee Why beach.
11) What is your favourite football memory?
It?s a tough call between winning the premier league grand final in 2009 or the super league grand final in 2008. The super league grand final was the hardest game of football I?ve played! It was a tough match and what got us through was everyone playing for each other. When the final whistle blew it was the greatest feeling in the world.
