Division One Youth League Round 9 Review

There seem to be changes in the pecking order on each of the tables with each passing week and that means that the competitions are a bit closer than they have been in past years. It all means that we are treated to some very entertaining football each and every week and that can only be good for the game.
Club Championship
Fraser Park started and finished the day at the top of this table but because they had the bye this week they could not prevent their leading margin from being reduced from seventeen to seven points.
Camden Tigers retained second place after they bagged ten points from their trip to eleventh placed Southern Branch while Mt Druitt Town Rangers are still third thanks to the nine points they earned from their encounter at seventh placed Hakoah.
St George climbed two places to fourth when they took thirteen points from their matches at tenth placed Hills Brumbies while Stanmore Hawks stayed at fifth when they grabbed ten points at home to ninth placed Springwood United.
Gladesville Ryde Magic fell back two places to sixth after they could take only six points from their clash with Hurstville City Minotaurs who used their nine points share of the spoils to remain at eighth.
Grade 13
Fraser Park had the bye this week and that caused them to slip from first to third while Mt Druitt Town Rangers went up one place to the top of the ladder by a margin of two points after they posted a 3-0 win, their fifth three-pointer in a row, over Hakoah who have dropped back one place to eighth.
Stanmore Hawks rose one position to second thanks to their fourth successive victory, this one a 5-0 result over tenth placed Springwood United and Gladesville Ryde Magic climbed one place to fourth when they were 1-0 winners over eleventh placed Hurstville City Minotaurs.
St George slipped from fourth to fifth when they were held to a scoreless draw by Hills Brumbies who immediately moved up one spot to seventh while Camden Tigers remained in sixth position following their 2-1 victory over ninth placed Southern Branch.
Grade 14
Mt Druitt Town Rangers have retained their competition leading position by extending their winning streak to seven games with a 2-0 success over tenth placed Hakoah.
Hurstville City Minotaurs are still placed second after they took their unbeaten sequence to five matches when they were 3-1 winners over ninth placed Gladesville Ryde Magic.
Fraser Park have remained in third placed after they had the bye this week and Camden Tigers stayed at fourth even though they went down by the odd goal in five to fifth placed Southern Branch.
After they posted a solid 4-0 victory over eighth placed Hills Brumbies,
St George remained in sixth spot and Stanmore Hawks did not move from seventh spot after they were held to a scoreless draw by eleventh placed Springwood United.
Grade 15
Fraser Park saw their competition lead reduced to four points when they had the bye this week while Hakoah climbed two places to second spot when they were 3-0 winners over Mt Druitt Town Rangers who slipped back one place to tenth.
Stanmore Hawks rose two places to third thanks to their stunning 7-0 victory over seventh placed Springwood United while Gladesville Ryde Magic slipped back two places to fourth when they suffered a 2-1 loss to Hurstville City Minotaurs who jumped two places to ninth.
Camden Tigers fell back two positions to fifth after they were held to a 2-2 draw by eighth placed Southern Branch and St George retained sixth spot with their fourth successive win, a 2-0 result over Hills Brumbies who are now at the foot of the table.
Grade 16
Fraser Park had the bye this week and they were able to retain the top spot on the table even though their margin was reduced to a single point.
Camden Tigers moved up one place to second with a 2-0 victory over eleventh placed Southern Branch while Hurstville City Minotaurs slipped back to third when they suffered their first loss, a 2-1 defeat by eighth placed Gladesville Ryde Magic.
Hakoah also suffered their first loss of the season when they went down by the odd goal in five to Mt Druitt Town Rangers who have climbed one place to fifth.
Springwood United jumped one place to sixth thanks to their 4-2 success over Stanmore Hawks who have tumbled back two spots to seventh and St George remained at ninth despite recording a 3-2 win over tenth placed Hills Brumbies.
Grade 18
Camden Tigers returned to the top of the table by a margin of three points this week when they accounted for eleventh placed Southern Branch with a stunning 8-0 scoreline while Fraser Park slipped back to second after they had the bye this week.
St George took their unbeaten run to five games and moved up one place to third thanks to their 5-1 result over tenth placed Hills Brumbies and Gladesville Ryde Magic slipped back to fourth when they were beaten 2-1 by Hurstville City Minotaurs who promptly rose one place to sixth.
Stanmore Hawks jumped one position to fifth with a 3-0 victory over ninth placed Springwood United while Mt Druitt Town Rangers dropped two places to seventh after they went down 3-0 to seventh placed Hakoah.
