Parramatta Eagles and Granville Rage find themselves competing for early bragging rights as both clubs vie for the top spot in an ultra-competitive competition.
Parramatta?s good start to the year will be tested by a Rage outfit that has strung together a series of wins in recent weeks, and a win to either side will be a massive psychological boost as the Premiership approaches the half-way mark.
Granville will host the clash, which is the first leg of a Charity Shield event both clubs will use to raise funds for research as part of the ?Call to Arms? initiative by the Cancer Council.
The second leg will be at Parramatta?s home ground Melita Stadium and Rage are determined to face that clash with a win under their belt.
The kick-off time for First Grade is 7:30 at F.S. Garside Park, Onslow St Granville.
Special guests will include the Federal Member for Parramatta, Julie Owens and the Mayor of Parramatta, Paul Garrard.
