Episode Three  Run-down:
ONE TO WATCH: ANTHONY KRKOVSKI is certainly making a name for himself at all levels of the game. In the past 12 months, this Sutherland U13s representative player has won a National Championship with NSW, Metropolitan Cup and also competed in the AFC Festival of Football in Malaysia. Anthony?s football journey began at the tender age of seven when he asked his father Bill if he could play when they were driving past their local club Carss Park in the St George Association. Last month, Anthony scored a 30-metre screamer for the National team against Singapore ? a goal which all viewers will remember when they see his profile story.
COACHING TIP: Fresh from securing Australia?s place at next year?s Women?s World Cup, Matildas coach TOM SERMANNI joins us for his first coaching segment in the 2010 series. Tom will explain the art of side foot passing with the help of Matildas stars KYAH SIMON and LEENA KHAMIS. Kyah scored Australia?s winning penalty kick to secure our World Cup place in Germany.
CELEBRITY CHALLENGE: There?s no doubt Bondi Rescue?s DEANO GLADSTONE is more at home in the water but he is more than happy to take on our Penalty Shootout Challenge at one of the world?s most iconic locations ? Bondi Beach. Will Deano be able to take the lead in the Celebrity Challenge after the efforts of Damien Leith (4pts) and Michelle Bridges (5pts)?
STAR OF THE WEEK: YANNI STOJANOVSKI is another of the unheralded volunteers in our great game. Yanni helped form the Scots FC in Sydney almost 30 years ago and has been involved in all areas of running the club since. In fact, when he isn?t setting up the home ground at Scarborough Park in Sydney, Yanni also finds time to play for his beloved Over 35s Scots team.
FOOTBALL 4 ALL GALA DAY: In recent years there?s been a major push to provide a footballing outlet for those in the community with special needs. Earlier this month Football NSW helped stage the second Football 4 All Gala Day at Parklea. A record number of 12 clubs and over 200 players took part and our cameras were there to film all the action.
MY CLUB: It?s proving to be a very popular segment – so much so that FNSW has been overwhelmed with over 40 nominations. This week MY CLUB heads to the famous CONCORD JUNIOR Soccer club in Sydney. Mahalia Lum and Samuel Begbie take us behind the scenes on match day
JOHNNY WARREN EXHIBITION: There?s no denying that former Socceroos captain JOHNNY WARREN is the ?father? of Australian football. Johnny passed away in 2004 but his family has provided all his memorabilia for the inaugural ?I TOLD YOU SO? exhibition at the National Museum in Canberra, which will run until August 9
NSW PREMIER LEAGUE: There?s more great action from the NSW Premier League competition as BLACKTOWN take on MARCONI STALLIONS in our main game from round 19. There are also highlights from two other games ? West Sydney Berries v Sydney Olympic and Manly United v Bonnyrigg White Eagles.
GOAL OF THE WEEK. There are three more great entries in our Goal of the Week competition where one lucky person will win a great gift pack from Hummel. The contenders are LEON DRANSFIELD (Umina Eagles), ERIK ELIOPOULOS (Horsley Park) and ANDONY MARTIS (Canterbury).
