This season?s Finals Series contenders were aided by Ozbey?s contribution in front of goals as the ace marksman bagged two hat-tricks and scored four double strikes in season 2010.
?It has been a fantastic year but I have to credit the club management and the players that I have had around me in assisting me with this,? Ozbey stated to Football NSW.
It seems as though Ozbey hits his straps with Blacktown as the gun hungry striker stated that he has always been comfortable with the setup at the club.
?Blacktown have always been good to me and always seem to bring the best out of me.
?It is a very professional club along with the setup and I have always been treated well, let?s hope we can continue our good form with the finals series coming up.?
The 24-year-old only missed one match this season through suspension and came on once as a substitute but took part in 21 games overall making his goalscoring feat a remarkable achievement.
What?s also an amazing statistic is that Ozbey has made 74 appearances for Blacktown and has scored an incredible 76 goals in all Cup and League competitions.
It was Ozbey?s third Golden Boot award of his career in the NSW Premier League after the marksman picked up the award in 2006 scoring 17 goals and 2007 scoring 15 goals making labelling him a goalscoring machine by many of his peers.
Blacktown tackle Sydney United this Sunday at Lily Homes Stadium with the winner taking on 2010 Premiers Bonnyrigg White Eagles for a chance to be in the 2010 NSW Premier League Grand Final.
Ozbey is hoping that his rich goalscoring form continues against the Reds.
?I honestly believe that the winner of this weekend?s match will have one foot into the Grand Final.
?I think the week off won?t do Bonnyrigg any favours but I know it is up to us to make things happen and for us to achieve the dream of playing in the Grand Final starts this week against a tough United outfit.?
His solid performances for Blacktown have gone unnoticed as A-League side Central Coast Mariners have honed in on Ozbey offering him trials at the club.
?At the moment I am on trials but not sure what the outcome is yet, we will have to wait and see but I do want another crack at playing in the A-League after my time with the Newcastle Jets a couple of seasons ago.
?I want to focus though on getting to that Grand Final with Blacktown.?
