Grant Lee appointed head coach for Manly United’s Arrive alive Women’s Premier League side

He comes to the club following two seasons as assistant coach of Sydney FC?s National Youth League squad, taking over from Larry Bates.
??I have known (girls head youth league coach) Sharon Egger for many years and she suggested I consider coaching the women?s senior XI,?? he said.
??It presents a new challenge for me, Manly won the club championships this season so obviously some good systems are in place.?
Lee, who also has coaching badges from the Australian Institute of Sport and this year ran Sydney FC?s academy, was quick to state he will blood youngsters if they are good enough.
??My job is to introduce habits that will see the girls progress to the next level, be it in the W-League or overseas,?? he said.
??It won?t happen overnight, but I have a few ideas which I think will work well.??
