The field is most impressive and it includes many World Champions, Commonwealth Games medal winners, Australian Champions and outstanding administrators, coaches, officials and volunteers.
The Awards recognise and reward achievements and outstanding contribution towards the sports industry in NSW in 2010.
The late and great Football NSW Competitions Manager Larry Grant has been nominated in the NSW Administrator of the Year award for his outstanding services for football at both association and state level ? as football was his entire life prior to his unfortunate passing however his legacy will still live on.
2010 George Churchward Medal winner Stephen Hayes has been nominated in the NSW Volunteer Award for his outstanding services for the game. Hailing from Albury Wodonga, Hayes has been a keen advocate in promoting football within the Country areas.
The NSW Paralympic 7-a-side Football side has been nominated in the NSW Team with a Disability Award for their fantastic season which has heralded much success to the team and the officials involved.
While finally Vince Laws was selected as football?s Distinguished Long Service award winner which will be presented to him on the evening of the Dinner. Vince Laws entered his 70th year of football involvement with the Canterbury Junior Soccer Club and Canterbury Association and has been a pioneer of football within the Canterbury area.
