Takayuki Omi signs for Sydney Olympic
Takayuki or Tak as friends call him was born in Shiga – Japan on the 6th of October 1982 his position is attacking midfielder and played in New Zealand last year with Auckland City FC where he also played in the OFC-Champions League and for Young Heart Manawatu the previous season in the ASB Premiership where he also scored two goals for his team.
Tak was extremely happy to sign with Sydney Olympic and soon after signing his new contract he said the Sydney Olympic Media staff: ?I am happy to be with Sydney Olympic, my friends told about the Club and I really wanted to play here. I will do my best for the Club and the coach that believed in me?.
The Directors of the Club would like to wish Takayuki all the best in the 2011 season and we hope he meets the expectations of the coaching staff and the supporters of our historic Club.
