NSW State League Division One Preview

Kicking off at 7-00pm on Easter Saturday evening at The Crest Complex is the very absorbing contest between Inter Lions and Mt Druitt Town Rangers.
Inter Lions recruited well in the off season, and have played some delightful football in their opening three matches.
However, coach Nick Tarquinio must be scratching his head as to how he can convert this to points, given they have managed just the one draw to their name after three rounds.
No doubt the loss of the hard working Di Mento brothers has had an effect on the team?s intensity, as well as the fact that their momentum has taken a hit with their hap hazard playing schedule ? two of their opening five matches have fallen foul of the weather.
But the Lions are a proud club, and are too good a side to be propping up the ladder – the question remains who will be their first scalp as they look to put their season on track so they can reach the heights of recent years.
Mt Druitt have bounced back from two opening season losses to record back to back wins, and their six points sees them sitting comfortably in the top half of the ladder at this early stage of the season.
With skipper, Ryan O?Shea, and Nathan Ralph, running amok in the midfield, the Rangers will back themselves to continue Inter?s misery and grab some much wanted Easter points on the road.
The second match of the long weekend is the ANZAC holiday clash on Tuesday afternoon, kicking off at 3-00pm at Hajduk Stadium.
Fairfield Bulls welcome the visit of Gladesville Ryde Magic, hoping to put the Magic to the sword in front of their home fans.
The Bulls have had a steady start to their campaign since their elevation from Division Two last year, with a win/draw/loss record, and a win here in this catch up game will elevate them to equal fourth.
The Magic have hit form with back to back wins in their last couple of rounds, and will go into this match full of confidence and be hoping star goalkeeper, Kiriakos Tohouroglou, can keep a clean sheet, and help them to a third successive three point haul.
