Football NSW Information & Working with Kids Seminars 2012
These Information Seminars are being held in conjunction with the Working with Kids Seminars to provide the football community with information about Football NSW and its services combined with the Working with Kids Seminars for Youth League and Metropolitan Representative League Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Managers as part of their mandatory attendance requirements.
All Coaches, Assistant Coaches or Managers who have not previously attended a WWK seminar and who are registering as a team official with Football NSW in Metropolitan Representative League, Girls Youth League or Boys Youth League in 2012 will be required to attend one of the seminars.
Club and Association officials, MPIO?s, coaches, managers, referees and volunteers are invited to attend these seminars to hear and learn more about Football NSW and working with children.
The content of the WWK seminars is designed to educate and assist team officials on the various aspects of child protection and working with children at an elite level of football.

MANDATORY ATTENDANCE
It is a mandatory requirement of Football NSW that Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Managers who have not previously attended a WWK seminar and who are registering with Football NSW in Metropolitan Representative League, Girls Youth League and Boys Youth League in 2012 attend ONE (1) WWK Seminar. Confirmed attendance at a WWK seminar is required prior to the processing of registration and ID cards for 2012.
Persons who have previously attended a WWK Seminar and are currently listed on the Football NSW WWK Database are not required to attend.
REGIONAL WORKING WITH KIDS TRAINING
Youth League and Metropolitan Representative League Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Managers located in regional NSW, Central Coast and the Illawarra are required to contact their Club or Association regarding regional WWK training.
EXEMPTIONS
Persons required to attend a WWK Seminar who are currently employed as a NSW Police Officer, Doctor, Nurse, School Teacher, Child Care worker or DOCS employee can apply for an exemption. Strict criteria applies.
To apply for an exemption you must provide to Football NSW:
1. Evidence of your employment i.e. A letter or email from employer confirming your position
2. Evidence of relative child protection training
3. Your full name
4. Contact phone number
5. Position ? Coach, Assistant Coach or Manager
6. Name of Club or association
