SN: At what age did you start playing the wonderful game that is football?

CM: I started playing when I was 4-years old

SN: What clubs/teams or associations have you played for before joining the Girls SAP?

CM: My local club was North Rocks and from there on I started playing for the NWS Koalas in the Women?s Premier League

SN: Who is your favourite football team?

CM: The Westfield Matildas

SN: Who is your favourite player? Male/Female?

CM: David Beckham and Caitlin Ford

SN: What position do you play? Why do you play that position? Do you like that position?

CM: I play right wing and have been playing this for quite some time as I love attacking and defending from that position and getting involved with the general play.

SN: In 2010 I understand you made the Under 13s Westfields Australian National team that toured Vietnam, what was that experience like and did you learn or gain anything from the tour?

CM: It was a truly amazing experience as I felt as though I was apart of something really big and played around some quality players and learnt quite a bit from my coaches. Travelling overseas also matured me in a number of ways as a player, certainly something I would like to do again if given the chance.

SN: You play competition matches against the Under 13 Boys in the Premier Youth League. What is it like playing football against the boys?

CM: It is very hard, they are really fast and their skills are great, but our girls cope pretty with it. Coping with the speed and skill, learnt how to deal with their skill and defend against them and attack by making speed and make counter attacks

SN: Why did you decide to join the Girls SAP?

CM: The SAP is the best development program currently out. It is fun and will take me further in my career I believe.

SN: What do you enjoy when playing football? How many times do you train?

CM: I like being part of a good and healthy team environment, it also helps that our coach Lisa (Warrener) is a great coach too. Training is three times a week and I play once a week, that is my football schedule.

SN: What have you learnt from the SAP so far?

CM: I feel as though certain aspects of my game have improved especially my left foot ? I am more confident using it in the game now than I have ever been.

SN: What are your goals in the future playing wise?

CM: I would like to represent my country at senior level, that would be a dream. I want to also try to make the Under 15s Westifleds National Team this year and hopefully play in the Westifield W-League in the future
