Robbie Mileski and Jefferey Issa crowned Silver Medal Winners

The end result was a tie, as both Robert Mileski from Bankstown City Lions and Jefferey Issa from Granville Rage were awarded the Silver Medal. Both were rewarded for consistently strong performances for their respective sides.
The 2012 NSW Super League Goalkeeper of the Year was nominated by the clubs and this year the award went to Northern Tigers’ Stuart Page. The Tigers number 1 was part of the Super League Premiership and Championship winning side and his contribution was recognised in winning this award. Whilst the 2012 Golden Boot for the NSW Super League was won by Bankstown City Lions forward Gosue Sama with 21 goals. The NSW Super League Grade 20 player of the year was won byWade Giovenali from Hills Brumbies after some outstanding performances in 2012.
In State League Division One, Mt. Druitt Town Rangers forward Todd Macrae stole the show winning both the Golden Boot, whilst veteran goalkeeper Kiriakos Tohouroglou from Gladesville Ryde Magic won Player of the Year. Grade 20 NSW Super League Player of the Year was won by Wade Giovenali of Hills Brumbies.
Mt. Druitt Town Rangers’ coach Hugh McRory was acknowledged with the Coach of the Year Award. Kiriakos Tohouroglou added the Division One Goalkeeper of the Year trophy to his collection.
In State League Division Two, Matthew Brandalise was awarded the Player of the Season after a great season with FC Gazy Lansvale. Justin Kosmina took out the Golden Boot award, whilst Mountains United shot-stopper Geoff Abraham’s was awarded Goalkeeper of the Year. Hakoah coach Mark Robertson was awarded Coach of the Year after an excellent season which saw the club win the Double.
In the nights other major awards, Referee of the Year, as deemed by the referee?s assessors each week, was taken out by Chris Young, while the Media Award was awarded to the Canterbury Bankstown Torch for their excellent coverage in 2012.
