Football South Coast announces Scott Chipperfield as SAP Ambassador

Chipperfield, a local Bellambi junior, represented Australia 68 times and played in two World Cups as well as playing professional football with Swiss giants FC Basle where he won a number of Championships as well as being involved in the UEFA Champions League.
Football NSW State Technical Director Alex Tobin was pleased with the acquisition of Chipperfield and stressed that his presence alone will assist in the promotion of the SAP program.
?It?s great to have someone of Scott?s calibre involved in the SAP system.
?His experience as a footballer having played both locally and abroad and having represented the Socceroos will prove invaluable to the South Coast region.
?The 2013 SAP aims to deliver an enhanced football development opportunity to the state?s talented youth players providing them the platform and foundation as they embark on the elite player pathway ? we are all eagerly anticipating the start of the SAP season.?
The 2013 SAP is the official Football NSW development program for players from Under 9s to Under 11s.
The 2013 SAP will incorporate the fundamental principles of the FFA National Curriculum and Small Sided Football Regulations, including; match format (U9 in 7v7, U10 and U11 in 9v9), training loads, match loads, program duration and field dimensions.
The program has been established to underpin the Football NSW Elite boys youth leagues and Football NSW ?Institute? programs for boys and girls.
