Darren Gillespie’s Subway trip of a lifetime
Darren and his wife Melissa, jetted off to London to watch two English Premier League matches in the space of a few days.
Arriving in London via Dubai at midday on Friday, Darren and Melissa took in the North London derby between Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspurs at the Emirates Stadium in the early kick off on Saturday.
In a match of high drama, Arsenal won 5-2.
Darren and Melissa spent Sunday taking in the sights of London, including Big Ben, the London Eye and Buckingham Palace.
On Sunday afternoon, Darren and Melissa were at Craven Cottage to see Fulham host Sunderland, which ended 3-1 to the visiting side, unfortunately for Socceroo Mark Schwarzer in the Fulham goal.
Monday was Darren and Melissa?s final day of what was a whirlwind trip. They spent the day again soaking up the sights of London, including the famous Hyde Park.
Their flight departed late on Monday night, bringing to a close the experience of a lifetime.
