Hesterine De Reus in Support of Female Coach Education

Matildas head coach Hesterine De Reus took part in a special coaching education session hosted by Football NSW and the Nepean District Soccer Football Association on Tuesday 4th June at Cook Park St Marys.
Football NSW has identified Coach Education as a priority female development area as twelve eager elite players from the Women’s Premier and Women’s State League competition had the honour of meeting De Reus at a grassroots certificate targeting female coaches.
James Rankine, Football Manager for NDFSA presented on the course and was delighted to have had the presence of Hesterine in attendance.
“This course provided the up and coming coaches representing five different clubs the necessary tools to create a fun environment for players, one in which they can learn to play with the ball and hopefully build a lifelong love of the game.
“It was great to see Hesterine in attendance, I know all the players certainly got a kick out of seeing the head Matildas coach in the flesh.”
