The weather over the long weekend was good enough to allow the full schedule of matches to be played and there were also some catch-up matches decided and, as expected, that has led to a number of changes to the look of the various tables.
SUPA IGA NSW NPL Men’s 2 – Overview
Sydney University had taken ten points from their first round encounter with Mounties Wanderers and Uni when one better this time when they went home with twelve points to show for their efforts.
Mt Druitt Town Rangers collected twelve points last time they faced Parramatta FC and this week the Rangers gained another eleven points for the encounter.
Northern Tigers earned ten points from their first round meeting with old rivals Spirit FC but on this occasion the clubs settled for an equal share of the spoils with each of them taking nine points from the fixture
Hills Brumbies pocketed ten points from their first round fixture against Fraser Park but it was bit more even this time as both clubs took eight points from the weekend.
When Bankstown Berries faced St George last time around the Berries made off with sixteen points and while it was not quite as good for the Berries this time, they still managed to take twelve points from the encounter.
Macarthur Rams took thirteen points from their first round matches against Bankstown City Lions so the Rams would be delighted with the sixteen points they earned from Saturday’s matches.
In Catch-up action from Round 5 Fraser Park pocketed eight points from the five matches they played against Macarthur Rams.
In catch-up action from Round 10 St George earned seven points from four matches played against Northern Tigers.
In catch-up action from Round 11 Northern Tigers were due to play against Sydney University in Grade 16 and Grade 18 but the results were not available at the time of writing.

Sydney University earned nine points when they last faced Mounties Wanderers and Uni bagged the majority of points again this week when they had eight points to show for their efforts on the day. That was sufficient to keep Uni at the top of this table while the Wanderers have slipped back one place to sixth.
Mt Druitt Town Rangers pocketed nine points from their first round meeting with Parramatta FC and history repeated as the Rangers once again took nine points from the day. The Rangers have retained second spot on the ladder and Parramatta are still at the foot of the table.
Spirit FC and Northern Tigers shared the first round spoils at six points apiece and it seems little has changed in the intervening period as the clubs once again bagged six points apiece. Spirit have held onto third position as a result.
In catch-up action from Round 10 St George earned seven points from their clash with Northern Tigers. The Tigers have slipped back one place to tenth despite picking up ten points from the double-up weekend.
Fraser Park claimed seven points when they last saw Hills Brumbies but the situation was reversed this time around as the Brumbies were the ones taking the seven points from the fixture. Those points have allowed the Brumbies to remain in fourth place while Fraser Park have fallen back one place to eighth after they collected a total of eight points from the double-up weekend. .

Bankstown Berries took ten points from their first round clash with St George but it was a little different when they met this week as the clubs settled for an equal share of the spoils, taking six points each from the day. The Berries have moved one place upward to fifth and the Saints have also climbed up one place to seventh.
Macarthur Rams collected seven points from their last meeting with Bankstown City Lions and the Rams were a bit better off this time as they grabbed ten valuable points from the meeting. The Rams were another club to move upward as they are now one place better off at ninth while the Lions are still in eleventh position.

Sydney University were 2-0 winners when they faced Mounties Wanderers in the first round and they took the points once again when they produced a 4-1 victory after leading 2-1 at the interval. The goals for Uni came from Conor Fitzgerald, Ryan Teague, Domenic Citarella and Alex Talbot while Andre Thomas scored for the Wanderers. Uni are still the competition frontrunners and the Wanderers have remained at ninth.
Hills Brumbies had knocked over Fraser Park with a 3-1 scoreline when they met in the first round and that trend continued this week when the Brumbies won 4-1 after taking a first half lead of 2-0. The Brumbies have retained second spot. That loss has caused Fraser Park to tumble backwards from fourth to seventh.
Northern Tigers claimed the first round points with a 4-2 result over Spirit FC and they completed the double this week when they were 1-0 winners following a first half strike from M. Symons. Spirit have managed to hold onto third place despite this loss.
In catch-up action from Round 10 Northern Tigers and St George fought out a scoreless draw. The Tigers have used the four points they earned over the weekend to move up one place to sixth.
Mt Druitt Town Rangers had produced an 8-0 victory last time they faced Parramatta FC but in was a bit closer this week when the Rangers claimed the points with a 2-0 result thanks to a goal in each half. Scoring the goals for the winners were Z. Taylor and G. Crissani. The Rangers have moved up one place and they are now fourth while Parramatta are still in twelfth position.
St George and Bankstown Berries had battled out a 2-2 first round draw but on this occasion the Saints claimed all the points with a 2-1 result. Scoring the goals for St George were A. Hamdan and G. Salachoris. The Saints have climbed one place to fifth and the Berries have hung onto eighth position.
Macarthur Rams had taken the first round points with a 4-1 win over Bankstown City Lions and the Rams were able to complete the double this week when they came up with a 5-1 result after leading 4-0 at the break. The goals for the Rams came from B. Cummins (2), R. Dueza, Z. Zoric and C. Rubio while B. Pimentel found the net for the Lions. The Rams and the Lions have remained in tenth and eleventh places respectively.
SUPA IGA NSW NPL Men’s 2 – Grade 13
Bankstown Berries were 3-0 winners in their first round meeting with St George and the Berries completed the double this week with a 5-0 result after leading 3-0 at the half-time break. The Berries are still leading the way at the top of the table and they now have a lead of five points.
In Catch-up action from Round 10 St George recorded a 4-1 victory over Northern Tigers and that has kept the Saints in sixth spot.
Sydney University had claimed the points last time they saw Mounties Wanderers with a 1-0 scoreline but on this occasion the teams shared the points when their match finished in a 2-2 draw after the Mounties had led 2-0 at the interval. For the Wanderers’ Adrian Ferreira scored a first half double and that was matched by Uni’s Charlie Peters who netted twice in the second half. The Wanderers are still sitting in second spot while Uni have slipped back one place to fourth.
Parramatta FC posted a 4-1 result when they met Mt Druitt Town Rangers in the first round but the account was squared this week when the Rangers recorded a 3-1 victory over Parramatta who had led 1-0 at the break. The Rangers’ goals were scored by B. Morriss (2) and J. Roberts while J. Davies found the net for Parramatta. That win was enough to take the Rangers one place up the table to third while Parramatta are still eighth.
Macarthur Rams pocketed all the first round points when they won that match with Bankstown City Lions by a 2-0 scoreline but this time the teams shared the points when the scores were locked at 1-1 at the final whistle. The goal for the Rams was provided by A. Trebincevic and A. Gulevski scored for the Lions. Both goals were scored in the second half. This draw and the win in their catch-up match means that the Rams have held onto fifth position and the Lions are still in twelfth position

Mt Druitt Town Rangers had taken the first round points with a 4-1 victory over Parramatta FC but the tables were turned this week when Parramatta produced a 3-2 win after the Rangers had led 2-1 at half-time. Scoring for the Rangers were J. Newman 1and A. Bangura while R. Stathos scored one of Parramatta’s goals. Despite suffering their first loss for the season the Rangers are still at the top of the table but their margin has been reduced to five points while Parramatta have actually dropped back one place to twelfth due to results elsewhere.
The first round points had gone to Mounties Wanderers thanks to a 2-1 result Sydney University but the account was squared this time when Uni posted a 1-0 victory thanks to a first half strike from Jordan Kougias. This win has kept Uni in second place but it has forced the Wanderers back one place to fifth.
Hills Brumbies and Fraser Park battled out a scoreless draw when they faced off in the first round but this time Fraser Park grabbed all the points when they were 1-0 winners. The goal came from K. Vasilevski in the second half. The Brumbies have slipped back one place to fourth.
In Catch-up action from Round 5 Fraser Park defeated Macarthur Rams with a 3-0 scoreline. Those two wins have allowed Fraser Park to climb from seventh to third.
Spirit FC registered a 3-0 result when they last saw Northern Tigers but that was reversed this time around as the Tigers led 2-1 at the break before going on to post a 3-1 final scoreline. Two of the Tigers’ goals came from M. Mizzau. Spirit have dropped back one place to sixth.
In Catch-up action from Round 10 St George suffered a 2-0 loss to Northern Tigers, allowed the Tigers to move up two places to tenth.
When they met last time Bankstown City Lions produced a 2-0 win over Macarthur Rams but the account was even after the Rams recorded a 3-1 victory this time with all the goals coming in the second half. Scoring for the Rams were E. Maguire, L. Bell and N. Atkinson while M. Edmunds provided the goal for the Lions. Despite the win the Rams have dropped back one place to eleventh due to result elsewhere while the Lions have dropped one place to seventh.
Bankstown Berries bagged the first round points with a 7-3 scoreline over St George and the Berries completed the double this week when they won 5-2 after leading 2-1 at the interval. The Berries have been elevated one place to eighth as a consequence.

The first round clash between Mt Druitt Town Rangers and Parramatta FC had produced a 4-0 win for the Rangers and they completed the double this tie when they registered a 5-0 result after taking a 3-0 lead to the half-time break. The goals scorers were S. Roberts (3), A. Steel and D. Baker. The Rangers are now five points clear at the top of the table while Parramatta have remained at the foot of the table.
Sydney University grabbed the first round points with a 1-0 success over Mounties Wanderers but this time around the teams shared the spoils after the fought it out for a scoreless draw. Uni have managed to hold onto second position and the Wanderers are still in sixth spot.
Spirit FC had suffered a 2-0 first round loss to Northern Tigers but Spirit were able to turn the tables this week when they recorded a 1-0 result thanks to a first half goal. Spirit are still placed third and the Tigers had fallen back two places to tenth.

In Catch-up action from Round 5 Fraser Park and Macarthur Rams battled out a 2-2 draw. The draw has forced Fraser Park back one place to fifth.
Last time the teams met Bankstown Berries came up with a 3-1 result over St George but that outcome was reversed this week when the Saints were 2-0 winners thanks to first half goals from S. Mehmet and J. Alvarez. This result has pushed the Berries back two places to ninth.
In Catch-up action from Round 10 St George produced a 3-1 result over Northern Tigers. The Saints have jumped from eleventh to seventh as a consequence of these two wins.

When they met in the first round Mounties Wanderers battled out a 1-1 draw with Sydney University and this week the teams split the points again when their match ended in a 1-1 draw with both goals coming in the first half of the match. Scoring those goals were Leyton Hinton for the Wanderers and E. Andrew Karabatsos for Uni. The Wanderers are still three points clear at the top of the table while Uni have moved up one place to seventh.
The first round points went to Parramatta FC when they produced a 4-0 result over Mt Druitt Town Rangers but on this occasion the teams shared the spoils when they were locked up at 2-2 when the final whistle sounded. The goals for the Rangers were scored by J. Henry and E. Mattiuzzo while D. Keski and J. Taunton found the net for Parramatta. The draw has allowed Parramatta to remain at second while the Rangers are still in sixth spot.
Northern Tigers and Spirit FC fought out a 2-2 draw in their first round encounter but all the second round points went to Spirit when they posted a 2-0 result, doubling their half-time advantage. The goals for the winners came from C. Sheehan and A. Henderson. That has allowed Spirit to move up one place to third.

Mt Druitt Town Rangers had edged out Parramatta FC by the odd goal in five when they met in the first round but, in another tight match, the teams had to share the points this time when their match ended at 2-2 after the Rangers had led 2-0 at the interval. The goal scorers for the Rangers were N. Bransdon and J. Dib while Parramatta’s goals came from H. Riad and T. Bonomy. The Rangers have a lead of a single point at the top of the table while have retained third position.
Mounties Wanderers had produced a 3-0 win last time they saw Sydney University but the tables were turned this week when Uni claimed the points thanks to a 1-0 result. The winning goal came from a first half strike by Alexander Nicolosi. The Wanderers are still in second spot and Uni have remained at fourth.
Northern Tigers recorded a 7-1 victory when they met Spirit FC in the first round and while it was a lot closer this time, the Tigers claimed the points once again when they were 1-0 winners thanks to a second half goal from F. Ankumah-Sey. Despite the win, the Tigers have dropped back one place to sixth while Spirit have fallen back one place to twelfth.
In Catch-up action from Round 11, Northern Tigers were due to play Sydney University but the result was not available at the time of writing.
