Branko Culina confirmed as Suns Head Coach for 2014

FNSW Grandfinal 2013 Bonnyrigg White Eagles V Rockdale City Suns

After a fantastic season that saw Rockdale City Suns fall one win short of the ultimate prize in the IGA NPL NSW, the Rockdale City Suns are pleased to announce that Head Coach Branko Culina will be back for another year at the Ilinden Sports Centre.
Branko’s results over the last season speak for themselves, taking the club to its first Finals Series since promotion into the Premier League, and falling one game short of taking out the title.
“I’ve enjoyed my time at Rockdale over the past season and really enjoyed coaching again. It’s a great group of players, both young and experienced, a fantastic coaching and support staff in the football department, as well as supportive board that wants to achieve, and we’ve all gotten along well. Together we aim to be a not just a successful team but to build a successful club culture” Branko said.
On the stumble at the final hurdle, Branko said he “was delighted to make the Grand Final with the players and can’t wait to move forward for next season. We’d like to continue to build and move forward next season and hopefully go one better not only for the members and fans of the club, but for the players that put in a tremendous effort over the past season”.
We look forward a bigger and better 2014 season.
