Parramatta FC appoint Franco Cosentino as head coach for 2014

????????????????????????????????????

SUPA IGA National Premier Leagues NSW Mens 2 club Parramatta FC has announced the signing of Franco "Cossie" Cosentino as the Club’s head first grade coach for its 2014 campaign.

Franco Cosentino’s appointment will provide Parramatta FC with an outstanding level of experience for their senior teams.  Cossie’s appointment in conjunction with Jakob Tielman, demonstrates that the Granville & Districts Soccer Football Association (“GDSFA”) board and new Parramatta FC committee mean business for 2014 and beyond.

Franco Cosentino has coached players at premier clubs such as Marconi, APIA Leichhardt Tigers, Bankstown Lions and most recently assistant first grade coach for Parramatta FC.

Focussing on loyalty, development, hard work and discipline, “Cossie” is passionate about getting the best out of his players.  Indeed, while there are many success stories that have come from his tutorage, “Cossie” hopes that Parramatta FC will become a dominant force in elite football once again.

Franco will be supported by other experienced staff such as assistant first grade coach Paul Casey and first grade Manager Stephen Ellul.

Other notable appointments at the club include Andrew Prentice and Paul Watkins (assistant) who will combine to coach the under 20’s team, whilst David Ivichevich is set to take the reins of the under 18s.

The combination of experience in his coaching/management staff and players promises to provide fans in the SUPA IGA Men’s 2 Football NSW division with an entertaining year of football for the 2014 season and beyond.

Tony Nikolic Parramatta FC public relations manager states: “The appointment of ‘Cossie’ by the GDSFA board is positive, the GDSFA have done a great job with this appointment; moreover it marks an important milestone in Parramatta’s integrated transformation with their technical director – Jakob Tielman and newly appointed committee”.

When asked what he expects for 2014: Cossie stated quite humbly: “The club has allot of hard work to do from here to the end of 2014”.
