Mt Druitt Town Rangers FC add Quality and Depth to 2014 Coaching staff
Mt Druitt Rangers FC are pleased to announce the following changes to its’ Football programme as it continues to plan and build for the future.
Stewart Montgomery has been appointed as Director of Coaching, with Aidan Desmond being recruited as the Clubs Technical Director for SAP to 18’s.
These significant changes allows the club to better plan, prepare and resource the Football programme in 2014 and ensures our Club, Coaches and players have as much support and development as they needed to maximise on park performance.
Montgomery will focus on the Clubs coaching environment and Coach Development with a view to ensuring the clubs Football Plans, 2014 Football Periodised Programme for Technical and Tactical sessions and Football goals and objectives are aligned.
This enables Aidan Desmond as the Clubs Technical Director to execute on pitch the clubs football plans and goals with the Coaches on a weekly basis.
Aidan will oversee the training sessions to ensure they are in line with FFA Curriculum at the various age groups.
A major focus for Desmond will be ensuring the clubs coaches are as prepared as possible and have session plans that address each team’s football objectives.
With Rangers Youth teams promoted into PL1 and the 16’s -1ST grade focusing on winning the 2014 Club Championship and promotion from PL2 it will be another challenging year for the club.
One we are all looking forward to and with Desmond joining we are better prepared.
Montgomery’s and Desmond’s role is to ensure we deliver the best possible youth players into the 20’s and 1st Grade where the clubs 1st Grade Coaches Nick Verdos and Luis Contigiani can then utilise them in the Senior teams and ultimately make them into 1st Grade players.
