The NSW country town of Dubbo was the scene for an FFA Level 3 Instructors and Referees course that took centre stage on Tuesday 14th of January in further promoting referees in regional areas.

Football NSW Referees Manager and Hyundai A-League referee Kris Griffiths Jones along with the FFA’s Referees Coordinator Richard Beazley took charge of the two day affair as local referees were treated to some great insights on the laws of the game and more.

“It was a fantastic two days spent at Dubbo with enthusiastic and eager referees going through courses in further developing their skills as leading officials.

“These courses have been a great initiative in further promoting and developing referees in regional areas with helpful information in taking it to the next level.

“I was delighted with the attendance as well as the willingness of all attendees that put in a great effort which made the two days very enjoyable,” Griffiths Jones stated to Football NSW.

The next regional course has been scheduled for Wagga Wagga on the 29th and 30th of January 2014.
