2014 NSR Futsal Schools State Championships Review
Penrith Valley Regional Sports Centre hosted 6 days of action packed futsal as the top teams of New South Wales battled for the crown of 2014 NSR Futsal Schools State Champions.
250 teams competed across U13, U14, U16 and Opens divisions for both boys and girls to determine who would earn the right to be called State Champions for 2014.
Football NSW Game Development Officer David Plowright was highly impressed with the depth of quality competing at this year’s Championships.
“The bar has certainly been raised from last year in terms of the quality of matches on display.
"Grassroots Futsal is certainly benefiting from the involvement of Premier League and State League players and coaches passing on their knowledge and expertise.
"Overall, an incredibly successful tournament.”
