Granville District Soccer Football Association side Baulkham Hills St Michael’s Knights will be celebrating its 40 years of football existence at the Bella Vista Oval on Saturday 23rd of August in what will be a fun filled day for the historic club.

The day has been labelled “Lunch on the Oval” with the objective of sharing this remarkable achievement with all members and their families along with the wider community.

Additionally a Gala Day will be held in the morning for the Kickaroos and the U5 to U9 teams which has been timed so the members can stay on after playing to enjoy lunch and participate in more planned activities.

Every member will receive a free 40th Birthday T-Shirt and a Sausage Sandwich while around the field will feature activities to entertain the kids and win prizes.

Established in 1974, the club features well over 500 registered players and has fielded teams in the GDSFA competition in junior mixed and junior female, all age men and over 35 divisions as well as in-house Mini Roos teams and a special needs program called the Kickaroos.

The Club has a proud history which is based on a strong alignment with community and family values.

These values have been demonstrated in the support of local schools, catering for members with intellectual disabilities, the sponsoring & development of the Hills chapter of the "Special Olympics", and donation of superseded jerseys to football clubs in developing nations.

The Knights have a 5 Year Strategic Plan with key initiatives focused on; skills development for our members, expansion of our Schools Program, development of Special Needs into older age groups, fielding of a Premier League team in 2019, additional Female teams and ongoing management of club growth.  The club is supported with an active Executive Committee and has a record of diligent and prudent financial management.
