Henschke Primary school enjoy football clinic

Following on with the FIFA Live Your Goals project, Football NSW in conjunction with the Macquarie Bank ran an impressive football clinic at Wagga Wagga’s largest co-education Primary school, Henschke Primary School on Wednesday morning.

Young eager football players were put through a mixture of skills and games as all pupils thoroughly enjoyed what was a great day with the world game taking over the Primary School that also featured former Matildas star and Sydney FC’s W-League recruit Renee Rollason.

Football NSW Game Development Manager Hayley Todd stressed the importance of continuing to promote the game in regional areas.

“The regional kids love this game and to be bringing out these clinics thanks to Macquarie Bank and going on visits such as this is priceless.

“It gives each participant the chance to be involved in help raising awareness on the profile of football which is constantly growing.”
