Football NSW to assist in Australia Day celebrations
As estimated 140,000 people will flock to Hyde Park on Monday January 26th as Football NSW takes part in a special Australia Day celebration hosted by Nickelodeon with the aim to promote the 2015 ‘Play Football’ registration campaign.
The event will see gates open at 8am as number of activities will run throughout the day with the event wrapping up at 5pm.
A day that should not be missed by all football fans, Football NSW will have a stand in the ‘Sporting Zone’ with small sided games running on all day with penalty shootout competitions also to help assist in the promotion of the round ball game.
Two time slots have been penned in on stage being 10:30am and 3:30pm where guest football speakers will be in attendance as well as a juggling competition with prizes set to take place.
