Get behind the NCAS Program

The National Club Accreditation Scheme (NCAS) is a program that aims to raise the standards of grassroots football clubs across the nation.
This is achieved through a clear model that identifies and recognizes best practice in all areas of club administration, and will set guidelines and criteria for best-practice models which can be replicated in clubs throughout the country.

They do this by recognising and rewarding clubs that have, or put in place, measures which ultimately contribute to quality football experiences for players, volunteers and parents.
Football NSW Game Development Officer Anthony Herrera has promoted the fact that this initiative is a fantastic opportunity for grassroots clubs.
“It gives grassroots clubs an opportunity to increase their professionalism in all aspects of the game, from the administration part through to training and finally onto the football pitch.”
The NCAS provides an accreditation rating scheme for grassroots football clubs as identified in the National Game Development Strategy.
This sets guidelines and a criteria for best-practice models which can be replicated in clubs throughout the country.
There are four levels of accreditation that can be achieved by clubs. When entering all clubs begin at Level 1.
Application for the NCAS close on the 31st of August and Herrera is keen for more clubs to register.
“We currently have 41 registered clubs that have achieved the Level 1 accreditation for NCAS.”
