The first weekend cobwebs have been shaken from all the teams in which Hills made the biggest statement now we move into the second week of fixtures in our preview.

Stanmore Hawks vs Dulwich Hill FC (Match of the Round)

Our first of the 3pm fixtures this weekend brings two first weekend losers together for a clash where both sides will be keen to get off the mark.

Dulwich Hill was gallant in defeat against a cohesive Nepean outfit so will be looking to the home comforts to bring a better result. Stanmore ran into a buzz saw named the Hills Brumbies in their opening fixture and will relish an Inner West opponent to bring out the best.

Saturday 4th April, 3pm, Arlington Oval

Granville Rage vs Nepean FC

The second of our two 3pm fixtures, brings the impressive Nepean FC out to Garside Park to take on a chastened Rage team who fell to the Inter Lions in their first game.

Granville will be hoping to not make it two losses at home early in the season. Nepean will be rolling on all cylinders after two of their new signings made an instant impact with Kodai Hayashi and Alessandro Suarez scoring, as FC look to make it six points in two weeks.

Saturday 4th April, 3pm, Garside Park

Gladesville Ryde Magic FC vs Inter Lions

Our first contest pitting two first start winners against each other is the 5pm Saturday kick-off with Gladesville hosting 2014 battlers Inter Lions in their first home game of the new State League One season.

The Magic and Lions both won 2-1 last weekend meaning they will be evenly matched and may cancel each other out for a draw.

Saturday 4th April, 5pm, Magdala Park

Hills Brumbies vs North Shore Mariners

Brumbies had the result of the weekend, with their demolition of the Hawks in their first game of State League One. North Shore were made to work for the only draw in round one, so will be keen to add three points to their travels this week.

The home side will try to continue their momentum and make a statement again.

Saturday 4th April, 7:30pm, Lily’s Football Centre

Rydalmere Lions vs Hawkesbury City SC

The Lions fought back to earn themselves a hard point last weekend despite losing Khalid Allybokus early in the game, so will bring that spirit into their second home game against Hawkesbury.

City were impressive in the first half against Western NSW and if they can bring that pressing into this weekend, may see them earn the win.

Saturday 4th April, 7:30pm, Rydalmere Oval

Western NSW Mariners FC vs Balmain Tigers FC

A special Easter Monday clash takes us over the mountains and into Bathurst for the first home fixture for the Mariners.

They will host Balmain plucky in defeat last week playing a side who once they worked into the contest overran Hawkesbury which may be replicated this weekend.

Monday 6th April, 5:00pm, Proctor Park
