Over 300 promising young footballers stole the show at Valentine Sports Park as the 2015 NSW CIS Primary Boys School Championships took place on Friday.
Traditionally played at the Kings School, bad weather forced the changing of venue which saw Valentine Sports Park’s magnificent facility with the inclusion of two artificial surfaces used in what were fantastic conditions for football.
Overall the nine teams who featured in the School Championships enjoyed their Valentine Sports Park experience as did the many parents and teachers on hand as schools football once again took centre stage at Football NSW’s headquarters.
The Championships are used to select the official CIS squad.
Lindal Jesse, NSW CIS Executive Officer was blown away with Football NSW’s new facility.
“The facility is fantastic and it certainly offers a better experience for the many players and spectators who attended the event.
“I know the Primary boys were blown away with it too and they felt like professionals.
“It was a wonderful experience for everyone involved as were the Staff who were very helpful on the day.”
