It will be another blockbuster weekend of Men’s State League 1 action as round 10 settles in as one of most interesting yet.

Hawkesbury City SC vs Granville Rage, Saturday 30th May, 4pm, David Bertenshaw Field
Hawkesbury City climbed off the bottom of the ladder after their 1-1 draw against Nepean FC and will hope to continue their resurgence against the Rage.
The visiting Rage come into this weekend full of confidence after dominating their draw against the well-drilled Mariners.
Evan Daglis will miss the contest after his red card meaning David Bertenshaw has to find an alternate route for goals.
Granville needs to turn their confidence into goals against the tenth placed home side.
Gladesville Ryde Magic vs North Shore Mariners, Saturday 30th May, 5pm, Magdala Park
Gladesville Ryde Magic welcomes North Shore Mariners to Magdala Park in this weekend’s Match of the Round.
North Shore were held to a draw by a determined Granville Rage while Gladesville were victims of the weather, having their game washed out.
The Mariners are nipping at the heels of leaders Hills Brumbies in second, nine points clear of their opponents this weekend.
Gladesville has slipped since their bright start to the season and their defence will be tested against a North Shore Mariners team that boast two players in Michael Cole and Ry Hardy that sit in high in the top scorer’s list.
Joe Haywood will want his team to rebound from their draw last weekend and pile the pressure on a Magic team playing twice this week.
Hills Brumbies vs Rydalmere Lions, Saturday 30th May, 730pm, Lily’s Football Centre
The Brumbies host the unbeaten Rydalmere Lions on Saturday night, in a fixture visiting coach Tony Basha’s men will be primed to cause an upset.
Rydalmere were the sole winners last weekend, downing Rydalmere 3-1 while the Brumbies were held to a draw in the West.
Lily’s plays host to two very attacking teams that have scored 25 and 19 goals respectively in the past nine weeks.
Daniel Morsillo failed to score for the first team since mid-April and will be keen to add to his impressive almost a goal per game tally.
Stanmore Hawks vs Western NSW Mariners FC, Sunday 31st May, 3pm, Arlington Oval
The Hawks had the weekend off due to wet weather plaguing its match but will be very fresh for the challenge against third placed Western NSW on Sunday afternoon.
Western NSW broke the Brumbies six straight victory streak with a determined defensive display in the second half.
Andrew Fearnley’s men have to repeat that feat against a Costa Bakoulis and the Hawks attack playing twice in the week.
Coach Soteri Mavrou hopes the momentum built in their three match unbeaten streak may help create a fortress at home.
Inter Lions vs Dulwich Hill FC, Sunday 31st May, 3pm, Fraser Park
Dully were brought back to earth last weekend after their loss to Rydalmere.
Coach Norm Tome will know that this is a big three pointer for the club to get back onto winning ways.
Inter were bright returning to their home base in a draw with Rosario Occhipintoi starring.
It will be a desperate affair for two teams lower down the table, looking to build momentum.
Balmain Tigers FC vs Nepean FC, Sunday 31st May, 3pm, Wentworth Park
Joe Di Giulo’s Balmain are eager to respond against bottom placed Nepean at home.
They struggled last week to a draw where they lost Leonardo Di Giulo to a leg injury.
Conversely Matt Rippon was delighted to add a point to their tally after a tough run with injuries thus far.
Serjei Kunst will marshal the Tigers attack and will be a player Nepean need to contain on Sunday.
