Mixed results in Manchester
Football NSW Institute completed its first two matches of the Manchester Premier Cup World Finals as they took on Mexico’s Chivas and South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns FC on Monday.
The day commenced with an unfortunate 1-0 loss to Chivas as the Mexican side scored midway through the second half.
The second match saw a better result as the Institute side picked up its first points of the tournament with a 0-0 draw against Mamelodi Sundowns FC.
It will be a huge Tuesday and an experience all players will savour as they take on English giants Manchester United at 12:00 GMT followed by Spanish super club Real Madrid at 16:30 GMT.
