Girls time to Shine

As a prelude to the commencement of the Westfield W-League Season, Football NSW Home of Football, Valentine Sports Park, will host the Female Football Festival Gala Day on Saturday 26 September 2016.
The day will involve players from across Football NSW grassroots clubs and also development pathway programs taking part in non-competitive matches. 
This will give players from female only teams a chance to show their skills not only to other clubs, but also Football NSW Technical Department on the lookout for players for further development via the Football NSW Institute programs.
Football NSW Game Development Manager Hayley Todd has also confirmed the attendance of players from both Sydney based Westfield W-League clubs, Sydney FC and Western Sydney Wanderers. 
The players from both clubs will also be put through their paces in a light training session after the matches have been played.
