El Hafiane crowned Suns’ best for 2015

Last Saturday night saw the Ilinden Sports Centre host the Rockdale City Suns annual presentation night.
It was a full house for what was a fantastic evening to celebrate the season that was.
Notable guests in attendance included Rockdale City Council Mayor Councillor Bill Saravinovski, Rockdale City Council Deputy Mayor Councillor Michael Nagi, Councillor Ron Bezic, and the Honourable Steve Kamper, State Member for Rockdale. 
In addition to acknowledging the efforts of all teams and presentation of trophies to its SAP and Youth teams, major awards were handed out as follows:

·         Sime Zipevski Trophy for 1^st Grade Player of the Year- Idris El Hafiane;

·         Under 20’s Player of the Year Stefan Dubocanin

The night also provide an opportunity for the club to confirm its senior coaching ranks for the 2016 PS4 NPL NSW Men’s 1 competitions as follows:

·         1^st Grade: Paul Reid (player coach) assisted by Matthew Ribarovski

·         Under 20’s: Archie Markopoulos and Nick Porreca

·         Under 18’s: Jason Najdovski

The Club is determined to continue its on-field success in 2016 and is confident that the coaches above will see this come to fruition.
