Seeto ready for UEFA Futsal Cup experience
Former Dural Warriors and current Vice-captain Futsalroos star Tobias Seeto is set to embark on an incredible experience as he becomes the first Australian to play in Europe’s premier Futsal club competition, the UEFA Futsal Cup.
The Turramurra born star already holds one amazing achievement being the first Australian to play professionally in Spain and England.
His club side, Baku London United, have qualified for the competition by winning England’s Football Association National League.
Their group consists of the champion clubs hailing from Hungary, Belarus and Croatia.
“It will be a new experience for me, one that I’m really looking forward to,” he told the North Shore Times.
“The UEFA Cup is a competition that I have always wanted to play in and am really looking forward to challenging myself.”
On the national front, Seeto will be part of the Futsalroos side who will compete in this month’s ASEAN Futsal Championships in Thailand.
The ASEAN competition is the qualifier for next year’s Asian Football Confederation Futsal Championships in Uzbekistan.
